Morning and evening routines are what we aspire to have in order to elevate the quality of our life.

Here are some ideas of habits worth taking up this year.
- Simplify your wardrobe: Way before Steve Jobs, my grandmother adopted a “uniform” of sorts. Whatever she was doing, she would wear black trousers and a white blouse. She had smart ones for every day and stretchy ones for physical tasks like gardening. As a result, she never wasted any time wondering what to wear and she always looked impeccable. For the last few years, I have adopted a black “uniform” and similarly, I never waste time wondering what to wear and even when I am in my comfiest clothes chilling out at home, I can answer the door without a surge of anxiety. Reducing choice in what we wear frees precious minutes and mental energy and eliminates one cause of stress in the morning.
